It’s that time again.

JESUS BINGO!

Yay!

We’ve been blessed to meet these wonderful servants of the Lord from Georgia who come and sponsor this event. They all have a heart to serve the community in the name of Jesus. If you haven’t had the chance to attend before, you don’t want to miss this. Everything is free! It’s a great time of fun and fellowship. And you get to take home some great prizes. Everybody wins so nobody goes home empty-handed.

2 Kings 6:16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

The young man with Elisha was afraid when he saw the size of the army ready to attack them. He was certain they were going to be taken captive or even killed. He said to Elisha, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” Elisha prayed for the LORD to open his servant’s eyes so he could see the LORD’S army prepared to protect them. Elisha’s faith was so strong that even against a great army, he knew God would protect him. By his faith and God’s protection, he was able to ease the worries of the man with him. We too, can be afraid by what seems to be overwhelming odds against us. When faced with what feels like certain defeat, follow Elisha’s example, take it to the Lord in prayer.

God is always with you, protecting you, providing for you, guiding you, and loving you with His perfect, unconditional love. He will never leave you or forget about you. He loves you, whether you’re a believer or not, so much that He sent His One and only Son to save you from the penalty of sin. Jesus freely laid down His sinless life so sinful people would have the opportunity to have everlasting life with Him in heaven.

Father God, thank You for Your perfect love, bountiful grace, and abundant mercy. Lord, You are our good Shepherd who protects, provides for, and loves His sheep. May we recall this Scripture when we feel overwhelmed and certain of defeat at the hand of our enemy. Lord, we love You and praise You. In Jesus’ holy and precious name we pray. Amen.

Construction of New Church Building Underway!

We are excited to announce the construction of the new, dry, church
building, Rock Springs Baptist Church, has begun! We have the footers dug and
the concrete poured. We have struggled with flooding that caused so much damage
to the current church building. Cleaning the mold every week has been a
challenge. But, God is good! Soon we will have a dry, clean building to worship
in. Thank you to each and every person who has been obedient to the Lord’s
leading and donated. We will need more support to completely finish it but we
know GOD IS NOT BROKE! HE owns it all so we know He will send what is needed.

God sent us here to share the gospel and minister to the people of the
Appalachian coal mines. It has been a blessing to serve, even during the struggles, through church
services, events, clothing give-outs, providing blankets, food give-outs every
month, etc.. God calls us to people! We are thankful for the people we have met
and the people who were sent to serve alongside us to show the love of Christ!
A big thank you to everyone who has donated their time, talents, and finances
to this cause. May God richly bless you!!

You can Donate Here,  or mail checks made out to Rock Springs Ministries, Inc. to PO Box 512 Bradshaw, WV 24817

Wonderful privilege to witness the baptism at church on Sunday!

Luke‬ ‭15‬:‭9‬-‭10‬

9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Matthew 28:19-20

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

1 Peter 4:15-16

1 Peter 4:15-16 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

Living a Christian life that’s honoring to God in a secular world is not always popular nor is it easy. We’re picked on, made fun of, treated as outcasts, and sometimes threatened. If you experience this don’t hang your head in shame! Instead, raise your head up and PRAISE GOD that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life! Praise Jesus! Proclaim His holy name! Acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and Savior and boldly tell others how wonderful He is! Never deny Him in order to be accepted by those who don’t know Him, who don’t have a loving and intimate relationship with Him. Always have this Scripture on your mind; Matthew 10:32-33 “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.”

Father God, we love You and we praise Your holy name! Your love is perfect and unconditional. Who are we that You are so mindful of us? Our life is but a vapor, here but for a little while and then it vanishes. But we praise You Jesus that through Your sinless life, selfless sacrifice, and bodily resurrection all those who call on You and place their faith in You and Your finished work on a cross are assured of everlasting life in heaven. Please give us hearts to be bold and eyes to see those You place on our path who desperately need to hear the good news of salvation by grace through faith. We love You and praise You! It’s in Your holy and redeeming name we pray. Amen.

Happy Thanksgiving, May God Bless You All!

Diane and I hope everyone has a happy and blessed Thanksgiving! May God richly bless you, indeed!!!

Psalm 19:7 The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise.

“The instruction of the Lord…” Some translations use “law” instead of “instruction.” Either word here may be referring to Scripture. The Scripture of the Lord is perfect! We know that’s true! God’s Word reveals Himself and His will. Christians should pray, every day, asking our loving Father to teach us His good and perfect will so we may walk in the center of it, not drifting to the left or the right.

When Holy Spirit reveals God’s will for you, be obedient. God has prepared you for this moment in your life. You may feel like you cannot possibly do whatever is being revealed, but you can. God will not give you a task so you can fail. He has equipped you for success because your success is for His glory and honor. Lean on Him, have faith in Him, and trust in Him.

Jesus offers everlasting life in heaven. Through Him, and obedience to God’s perfect Word, you will be renewed in this earthly life. Taste and see that the Lord is good. His Word brings you true joy and will show you how to walk in His wisdom and His way.

Thank You Father for waking us up one more time. Help us to use this day to share the love of Jesus with humble and caring hearts and pure motives. Give us strength and guidance as we follow Your will and share with others how great and loving our Father truly is. In Jesus’ mighty and loving name we pray, and we love You holy Jesus! Amen.
