Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Faith,
We are excited to share the latest updates about our new church building, a vision of hope and community that is steadily coming to life thanks to your unwavering generosity and prayers. Praise God! It is progressing beautifully, and we are eager to tell you about everything achieved so far. First, we wanted to thank everyone for contributing time, talents, merchandise, and funds after the Feb flooding. You have helped so many people. Things are getting back to semi-normal. Also, praise God for another accepting Christ. I inserted pictures on the last page.
As you know, we desperately need this building because our current church is full of mold, does not have working bathrooms, all the cabinets are rotted out, and the kitchen as well as the fellowship area can no longer be used. Water from the ground is seeping up through the floor, causing the floors to lift and break apart. We continuously bleach everything and scrub the mold, but it only helps for a short time.
Progress Highlights
Over the past month, we have reached several milestones in the construction journey:
- The foundation and block have been laid
- The floor system has been built.
- The outer walls are up with plywood on the outside.
- The bathroom walls are up with studs.
Thanks to your contributions, we can turn these plans into reality. The project’s success so far is a remarkable testament to the strength of our collective faith and dedication. May God richly bless everyone involved.
